Why I started Tiger Sunset
My son was born with cerebral palsy, and through him I saw what one small nonprofit could do. I became a founding board member of the NAPA Center Kids Foundation. Thirty years in sales and marketing, my time as a fundraising director at the American Heart Association, and a lifetime of inventing brought me here. Tiger Sunset brings all of it together to help similar organizations get the attention they deserve.
How it works
We partner with one nonprofit at a time, choosing organizations doing extraordinary work that we believe could use more attention. We create an original product tied to the nonprofit's mission and sell it for a limited time. With every campaign, we tell you up front exactly how much from each purchase goes to the nonprofit. The nonprofit always receives more from each sale than we keep. When the campaign closes, we publish what was raised and where it went.
Who we are
Tiger Sunset is a California LLC based in Los Angeles, founded by Michael Volk. We are a for-profit company, not a charity, and purchases are not tax deductible.
